1. Information we collect and why
When you leave a comment, we collect your name, email address, optional website and comment. We also process IP addresses, browser information and access logs to manage comments, prevent spam and keep the site secure. Your name and comment are public; your email address is not displayed.
2. Retention and deletion
We retain comments and associated information for follow-up discussions and site operation, and remove them upon a deletion request or for operational reasons. You can request access, correction or deletion using the contact method below.
3. Cookies and visitor statistics
If you choose to save your comment details, cookies may remember your name, email and website for up to one year. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We use Google Analytics for visitor statistics. Pages visited, device and browser information, referrals and online identifiers may be used to understand and improve the site. See how Google uses data and Google’s privacy policy.
4. Advertising and personalized ads
When ads are served, Google and third-party advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Google and its partners may personalize ads based on previous visits to this and other websites.
Manage or opt out of personalized Google ads through My Ad Center. Review third-party choices through AboutAds. Opting out does not stop all information processing needed for advertising. Where a consent message is displayed, use the message and available privacy settings to manage your choices.
5. External sites and affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. The operator may receive a commission when you buy through these links. External providers process visits and purchases under their own privacy policies.
6. Privacy requests
Request access, correction or deletion through the contact page. Comments may be public, so include only the article URL, comment name and request type. Do not put your email address, phone number or other private details in the comment text. The operator will explain any verification needed.
7. Policy changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and its effective date.
