Disclaimer

PowerSMPS is a technical blog documenting power circuit design and embedded hardware experiments. This page explains what to check when using its articles as references or applying them to experiments, and how to use the content.

Scope and accuracy

Articles include explanations based on manufacturer documentation, design calculations based on stated assumptions, and records of experiments and measurements performed by the author. Before using any figures or results, check the sources, assumptions, hardware and software configuration, and measurement conditions stated in the article.

Results can differ even with the same circuit or code because of component tolerances, supply and load conditions, wiring, or software versions. Although care is taken to provide accurate information, articles may contain errors or omissions, and information may change after publication. Check current datasheets and official documentation, and verify the results in your own environment before applying them.

Applying designs and experiments

Schematics, formulas, code, and configuration examples are references for learning and design review. They do not guarantee the safety, performance, reliability, or regulatory compliance of a particular product, or replace the design reviews and tests it requires. Assess their suitability against your operating conditions and requirements.

Working with mains power, high voltage, high current, or charged capacitors can cause electric shock, fire, or equipment damage. An article does not provide every procedure needed to work safely. If you lack the necessary knowledge, protective equipment, or suitable measurement setup, do not proceed; seek help from a qualified professional.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator limits liability for losses arising from applying the information to an individual environment. This notice does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or restrict readers’ statutory rights.

External links, advertising, and affiliate links

Articles may link to external sites, including manufacturer resources, reference documents, and product retailers. Their operators control their content and terms of sale, which may change. Check those details directly before using a service or making a purchase.

The blog may display advertisements and links from affiliate programs such as AliExpress. The operator may earn a commission when you purchase through an affiliate link. Please also read the affiliate disclosure in the relevant article. Displaying an advertisement or providing a link does not guarantee a product’s or service’s performance, quality, or safety.

Copyright and reuse

Unless otherwise stated, the operator holds the copyright in the articles, photographs, schematics, graphs, and other content they create. Third-party materials and quoted images remain the property of their respective rights holders. Where code or materials carry a separate license, follow its terms.

Sharing links to articles is welcome. When quoting content, stay within the limits permitted by applicable law and credit the author and original source. Before copying or redistributing complete articles, images, or schematics, or incorporating them into other materials, please use the Contact page to request permission, unless the law or the applicable license already permits that use.

Comments and corrections

Technical questions, results from your own experiments, and evidence-based disagreements are welcome in the relevant article’s comments. Comments containing spam, repeated advertising, exposed personal information, abusive or hateful language, or unlawful content may be withheld from publication or removed.

If you find an error, please provide the article URL, the specific passage, and supporting evidence. The information will be reviewed and corrected where needed. Use the Contact page for private inquiries and source or copyright concerns. For information about personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
